Ryan,

I went on the Tesla website and configured a sweet deal for just $105,350.00. You just gotta tell Peter and the bean counters at AOL (or what ever they will be calling it that week) that this is ESSENTIAL for an Engadget company car.

Rich, I've obviously followed Tesla very closely -- I should actually come down some time. Still, $50k for a sedan isn't what I'd call accessible -- but it's a start.

Hey Ryan forget about the Prius PHEV. What good is only an 8 mile range on the charge? Look at at Tesla Motors www.teslamotors.com

The Roadster has over 200 miles of range on a charge and it's pure electric! You can't beat the performance either: 0 - 60 in 3.9 secs! Yeah I know it's a little pricey, but we're developing a 5 passenger sedan (codenamed: WhiteStar) that will be launched in two years that will be much more affordable for a wider audience.

I've been holding out buying a new car until I can get something electric. I can't be the only person out there has no need for a car with more than a 100 mile range. It is very frustrating.

Well I guess that this is who no Engadget podcast
for the last few. Weddings are hard work as it is
but with Pete losing his dad too. Well at least his dad had the best seat in the house. BTW, is the Jason, Jason Calacanis?
