Wordpress 2.1.1 tainted

Niall just pinged to let me know that WP 2.1.1 — the version this blog was running up until a few minutes ago — was apparently tainted. Sheesh! Say, Matt, since you Wordpress folk are fixing things today how about we make TinyMCE work nice with adding and editing carriage returns? CRs in 2.1 are a friggin nightmare. Oh, and go upgrade your damn blog, hosted WP peeps.
If you press shift+enter you should get a single line break, right?

Yep, absolutely! But when I save, CRs get randomly dropped and lines get concatenated. I re-open posts, added the CRs in code, and other lines drop. It’s gotten so severe I’ve had to completely stop using TinyMCE.

if you use firefox, use the “performancing” plugin…works like a charm for me…no need for any webUI whatsoever
